Re: In the rectangular coordinate system shown above, does the

Hello, Tough I understand Ron explication there is something unclear to me. Is it wrong to assume that in the formula y=ax + b b can also be - ∞ ? In this case y = ax + b will not reach quadrant II whatever the slope is, will it ? When Replied this question I did choose the answer C because I was ...

S.C : Thelonious Monk, who was a jazz pianist

Didnt find it by research , from GMAT prep : Thelonious Monk, who was a jazz pianist and composer, produced a body of work both rooted in the stride-piano tradition of Willie (The Lion) Smith and Duke Ellington, yet in many ways he stood apart from the mainstream jazz repertory. a) same b) Theloniou...

Re: Manhattan GMAT books- question difficulties + content ?

Stacey, Thank you very much for your long, precise and interesting answer (especially the point about score which change a lot my perception of the situation). So I conclude the following (I dont mean to generalize it , it s just for my situation). -Doing new problems again and again will maybe not ...

Re: Manhattan GMAT books- question difficulties + content ?

Stacey, I apologise to go back and forth with this question again and again, but this is an important point for me to understand the calculation, especially because I use this to know where I concentrate my time and efforts. I did order the MGMat guide (by the way it would be a good idea to let peop...

Re: need urgent help regarding the online test

I did happen to me several time today, I think maybe if your connection drop a moment for a short period (use a wifi network ?) you are disconnected from MGMAT website then you are logged out. It doesnt matter , it seems the MGMAT website is well made and save the data for every question you validat...

Re: Inference Question

Hi Jonathan, Did you come to a conclusion regarding this answer ? I had this question too and I still don't really understand even why A is better than E . I will not rewrite the previous argument of Aparida with whom I agree totally about A. So conclusion A is way to strong and and it should be &qu...

Re: “user-friendly” and “fast response time”

I' say 312 too. I did it using the Venn Diagramm (I like this trick found in MGMAT bbook because it 's very fast to use like the Prime box) unfortunately I dont find how to paste image here so I will use the text but if you trace the circles it is easy to follow. I did my diagramm with 100 people to...

Sentence Correction Guide - Idiom - p165

Hello, I am trying to work on the idioms with the MGMAT guide (4th edition). P165 : Resemble "A certain coffee mug resembles my father". I checked my dictionary and resemble apparently means "Looks like" so there is something I dont understand . After few weeks trying to improve ...

Re: MGMAT RC

Emily, thanks for your explanation which is obviously much more satisfying than the correction provided online. I didn't have exactly the same than the previous poster, in mine it is written (I just paste it ) : "C) CORRECT. This choice states that it can be inferred that lysosomal storage dise...

Re: Disagree with question

Like previous posters I am also confused by this answer. Is it possible to understand what is the difference between supportive advocacy and objective explanations ? I did choose supportive advocacy because : -There is no descriptions of the technology defaults nor as it is written that they are no ...

Re: RC Stamina and AWA

Stacey, First thanks for your answer. AWA Ok I get it. So I need to do it well and to focus. (I think 4.5 is already not that easy , you see how I am writing and how tiring it is to read it). I will reply your questions in the wrong order but : I am not really in the 700 + just on the unsafe border....
