Request on information - more material

Hi. Is there any source where I can get the topic wise questions? When I try taking the practice tests, then I learn some rules, but unfortunately there are no more questions that I can practice the same rules on. I was hoping if there is any source I can practice questions based on a specific topic.

CR Question - Conclusion.

After the national speed limit of 55 miles per hour was imposed in 1974, the number of deaths per mile driven on a highway fell abruptly as a result. Since then, however, the average speed of vehicles on highways has risen, but the number of deaths per mile driven on a highway has continued to fall....

Re: Challenge problem question -

If AXY is 105 degrees, there could be a lot of combinations of the red line. And so the ratios of ares.
Unless AX is tangent to circle. Then point A and X will represent the same point. Then BAY cannot be 105 degree.
Is that the all information provided in the question?

Re: Geometry Question Bank #3

The question says height is distance between two points.
Now height of triangle = length between two points = 13.

13 is the height. Side of the triangle will be 13/sin60 = 13x2/sqrt(3)

Now - use formula Area of triangle = sqrt(3)/4 * side*side
sqrt(3) * 169*4 /3

B.The 1st states the conclusion of the argument as a whole; the second states an intermediate conclusion that is drawn in order to support that conclusion - ...

Re: If v Whether

We use if for conditions, like I will do it, if I can. Whether is when there are two outcomes of the questions. I will go Church, wheather it rains. (Or not hidden). You have to make sure usage doesn't change the meaning. Like for the sentence if you use 'if' will change the meaning. I will go to ch...

Re: Coordinate DS

Here is what I did. Slopes should have a negative product. That means they should be in opposite sign. Statement 1 - Imagine two lines passing through (4,3). Make one line having positive slope and try to rotate the other line around point (4,3). You will see there could be a positive and negative p...

Re: GMAT Prep: she was less successful after

Confusion is in C and E.. E 'had been' Sounds like as if she is not in New York anymore.. However, in original sentence seems like she is still in New York.

Re: Overlapping Set: Can we make a double set matrix?

Let the total counties be 100.

25% received no rain at all. So 75% i.e. 75 counties received rain.
Rain on monday - 70% or 70.
Rain on Tuesday - 65% or 65.

AUB = 75.
A = 70
B = 65
Gives A intersection B = 60. So 60% is the answer.

Re: When airline carriers are able to impose

I will say A. Because insertion of 'Who' just increases the length of the sentence. It doesn't bring any more clarity in the sentence as there already is.

Re: GMAT Prep: she was less successful after

'Less' doesn't have to be followed by than. You might be confusing it with 'fewer'.

Re: Burton Tool -- Bold Face

B was close. But seeing the sentence it never occured to me that the either of two boldfaces are conclusion of entire argument.

I was wrong. I will keep this in mind.
Thanks.

Re: Heavy commitment by an executive gmatpep

B Seems to be right.

A uses 'it' (especially if it) as an ambigious fashion.
C Modifier should be near to what it's noun.
D, and E seems wordy construction.

What's the answer by the way?
