BIO

Annie holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and 99th-percentile scores on the GMAT and the LSAT. An attorney and writer with experience teaching a range of subjects, she loves applying her skills to helping students conquer the tests.

Annie’s career path has been a winding one; she has worked as a literacy tutor, high school instructor, community organizer, program manager, mediator, birth doula, and attorney. Her favorite aspect of all these jobs was teaching, whether it was computer literacy to high school students, mediation skills to lawyers and judges, childbirth physiology to expectant mothers, or legal rights to newly-arrived immigrants. She finally got wise to the trend and is thrilled to now be applying her passion and experience to helping students tackle the formidable GMAT. In addition to her role as a GMAT instructor and tutor, she’s also the Manager of Instructor Talent for Manhattan Prep, in charge of recruiting and hiring new instructors.

When not working at Manhattan Prep, you can find Annie scouring city parks for medicinal plants (hint: they’re everywhere), and writing & performing with the experimental theater company of which she’s an ensemble member
