Sage Pearce-Higgins

London, UK

  • Manchester University
  • Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama

Sage graduated top of his class from Manchester University, with a B.A. (Hons) in philosophy and logic in 2005. He started his GMAT teaching career in St. Petersburg, Russia, where he spent three years studying Russian and teaching English to university students and businesspeople. He now lives in London, his home city.

As well as being a GMAT instructor, Sage is a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama, and he works as a piano teacher and accompanist. In his diverse experiences, Sage has discovered a passion for teaching, as well as an enjoyment in seeing connections between different fields: speaking a foreign language, playing a musical instrument, and taking the GMAT have more in common than you would imagine, as he’s likely to explain in his courses. He was inspired to teach the GMAT when he scored 760 on his first attempt and actually liked the experience of the exam. When he’s not picking apart the logic of newspaper articles or playing pub dominoes with teenagers, Sage enjoys long-distance running, Brahms, Russian novels and the Alexander Technique.
